Family physicians in BC are invited to review and comment on the draft of the Diabetes Care guideline.
This guideline describes the care objectives for the prevention, diagnosis, and management of diabetes mellitus in adults aged ≥ 19 years. This new revision includes updated guidance on the use of antihyperglycemic agents. Diabetes in pregnancy is outside the scope of this guideline.
