Permanent part-time Family Physician – Windermere Care Centre

This job posting is for a permanent position (not locum).

Windermere Care Centre is a 210-bed long term care home currently being supported by five Long Term Care Initiative (LTCI) practitioners. The care home is looking for an additional practitioner to assist with the resident caseload. Physicians will require VCH credentials and privileges to work at this care home. Practitioners working in LTCI care homes will work with an interdisciplinary care team: physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, allied health, and the care home leadership team. If you are new to long term care, there is paid mentorship available as well as a strong community of practice to build your skill set and confidence. In addition to LFP or fee-for-service payments, practitioners who join the LTCI also qualify for incentive payments if they participate in the after-hours care program, attend events, or participate in quality improvement projects.
