Locum Family Physician – Woodland Family Practice

Interested in working in a new clinic with sustainable practices in a culturally diverse community in East Vancouver alongside a group of committed family physicians and dedicated support staff providing team-based longitudinal care under the LFP model?

Woodland Family Practice, located on East 1st & Nanaimo, is seeking both short and long-term locums for flexible part-time arrangements with options to provide care both in person and telehealth for the following dates:

- January 1st-15th, 2025
- March 17th-28th, 2025
- All of July and August, 2025

Doctors at this clinic provide long-term care and obstetrical care also. Opportunities in those areas may be available if interested.

Woodlands Family Practice is full-scope with excellent MOAs and a supportive learning environment. The clinic has 5 exam rooms with 3 physicians working in the clinic at a time. The clinic also has a clinical pharmacist on-site once a week. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person. The patient population is culturally diverse with patients ranging from newborn to geriatric. They are using MedAccess EMR and are part of the LFP billing program.

Woodland Family Practice is located north of First Avenue on Nanaimo Street. They are easily accessible by transit, bike and car. Nanaimo Pharmacy is across the street. Their community neighbours include Sunrise Physiotherapy, Renzullo’s Italian deli, and To Live For bakery.

Languages: English, Mandarin and Cantonese considered an asset but not required.

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturdays 9am-12pm
