West 10th Medical Clinic, a modern clinic in Point Grey is looking to have a Nurse Practitioner join their clinical team. As part of a multi-disciplinary approach to full-service family medicine, an interested NP would work collaboratively in the team environment and start their own patient panel as per Ministry requirements.
Practice: A full-scope family practice that includes a broad range of ages and stages from infants to older adults. Lots of family-centered care (multi-generational families), geriatric, women’s health, mental health, transgender/gender-affirming care, and complex chronic disease.
Size of patient panel: 200
Work Schedule: Clinic days include 4 days/week (Mon-Thurs) for 8–10-hour days. Administrative day on Fridays. Scheduling is flexible. On-call every 4-6 weeks for 1 week.
This initiative is part of Primary Care Networks (PCNs) evolving in Vancouver. NPs interested in this opportunity should be willing to work collaboratively and participate in PCN development in the community.
They are a full-scope family practice that has 12 exam rooms with 7 physicians, and 3 Nurse Practitioners working in the clinic. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person. The patient population is a full-spectrum and focuses on geriatrics, chronic care and psychiatry.
