We are looking for short-term locums to provide vacation coverage in the summer (or anytime really!). Start date, schedule and duration are flexible.

We have a friendly medical team, amazing staff, a clinic located right on the main street (you can walk to everything) and we are used to having medical students and residents, so are happy to mentor new grads.

Our small clinic has 4 part-time physicians, a Nurse Practitioner and social worker. All the physicians at our clinic have mixed practices that include work in the community combined with work at our regional hospital or with other subspecialties.

There is often locum work available on the Hospitalist, ER or Obstetric rosters if you are interested in doing hospital work in addition to community clinic work, but this is by no means required. Hospital privileges are required for Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital if you intend to work on one of these services, and we can help guide you through this process.

Compensation: LFP Payment Model
Estimated Remuneration: Gross revenue approx. $1800/day (take-home after OH approx. $1300/day) depending on work pace.
Payment Terms: Billings split 72/28 with a cap of $500/day.

Incentives & Guaranteed Minimums: 11.3% rural incentive on all billings
