Locum Family Physician – Telus Health MyCare

Telus Health MyCare is seeking maternity locum coverage to join a team of lovely family physician colleagues.

Work hours are flexible with the physician seeing roughly 4 patients/hr for telehealth and 3 patients/hr for in person appointments. The physician being covered currently works 4 days a week – one day face to face and 3 days of telehealth. There is flexibility to work fewer days/hours, but a minimum of 6 hours face to face and 2 days of telehealth is requested.

In person clinical hours will be limited to clinic opening hours but for phone/video calls there is flexibility to work outside of 9-5pm if desired. For example, the locum can start at 8am or finish as late as 10pm if the hours are preferable.
Remuneration: 85/15, LFP.

The clinic offers 4-6 hours of EMR training which will be remunerated.

Telus Health MyCare is a full-scope family practice located on busy Robson Street with 3 exam rooms. They have a total of 8 supportive and helpful family physicians, with 3 working at the clinic at any given time. The physicians work well together as part of a team, and typically work 1 day a week in clinic between 9am-5pm, and 3 days from home between 8am-4:30pm. Their administrative support includes an office manager and 2 MOAs. They serve a younger to middle aged patient population, with some older patients too.

Hours: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm. Flexible telehealth hours.
