Help Create a Standard Form for Level of Intervention and Code Status

The BC Centre for Palliative Care is asking family doctors for their help to develop a consensus-driven Format for Level of Intervention and Code Status (FLICS) for British Columbia.

Different forms and naming systems in BC are used to document and communicate patients’ code status and level of intervention. This study is aiming to develop a standard form that could be used across all Health Authorities in the province.

The study will use the the Delphi process, which will take the input from a broad spectrum of medical professionals over multiple rounds of inquiry. Each round will be informed by the previous responses until consensus is reached. Interested participants will be needed to ensure full representation throughout the process. Each round of the survey to require 10-15 minutes of personal time.
