A shout-out to all of you for your ongoing service and the care you give to your patients. I know the many burdens that ail you, and please know we are working hard to voice your needs at all of the decision-making tables we sit on your behalf.
I want to stress that we are not an organization with a top-down approach. We want you to get involved. We have many opportunities for you to help shape the future of family medicine and I invite you to check out our committee call-out. From our strategic planning working group to representing us at the Doctors of BC Representative Assembly, know that there is a place at the table for you.
In fact, we need family doctors who want to be at the decision-making tables. We want to be the ones leading the conversations. We are a group of nimble, bold and courageous leaders who want our profession to thrive. It’s why I want to encourage you to join us.
