2023 Membership season is now open. BC Family Doctors has created a short tutorial to help you navigate membership renewal.
Step 1. Log in to your Doctors of BC Account via https://www.doctorsofbc.ca/user/login
Under the My Account page, click on “Pay Dues”.
Step 2. Follow the prompts that will take you through the different tabs. Update your profile and banking information.
Under Classification & Dues, confirm your membership with Doctors of BC and choose whether or not to be a member of CMA.
Continue following the prompts for the Optional Demographics and Governance & Affiliations pages.
Step 3. The Sections & Societies page will show your previous affiliations. If you were a member of BC Family Doctors last year, you will see your previous year’s category at the top of the page.
If you are joining BC Family Doctors for the first time, click on the + sign beside BC Family Doctors to reveal the categories and choose one.
If you feel that none of these categories applies to you, please feel free to send us a message at sgp.office@doctorsofbc.ca.
Step 4. The Sharing page confirms your consent to share your contact information with the BC Family Doctors and if applicable, Consultant Specialists of BC.
Step 5. Proceed to the payment page, review the list of dues and click on “Pay membership dues now”.
The page will lead you to a secure site where you can enter your credit card information and complete your payment.
BC Family Doctors shares a database with Doctors of BC. We use the membership data to update your website access to the BC Family Doctors website, as well as share news and important updates about family medicine.
