I am sick, it came on so quick. Navigating this healthcare system. New language, foreign terms, endless waits, surgeon looking stern… overwhelmed, all alone, so many questions, where to turn?
Follow up with your family doctor.
But. I. don’t. have. one.
Then who, then how, where am I going to get the care now?
It is a truth universally acknowledged that universal health coverage means all people have access to the health services they need, when and where they need them.
ALL people. ACCESS. All people access.
Access care when and where? Does anyone care?
Access the care of a family doctor? Not in BC. Not for me. Not for 1 in 5 beside me.
The time is here, the time is now. Do not allow them to tell us we deserve less than, and how.
Everyone deserves a family doctor. EVERYONE.
Follow up with YOUR family doctor.
