Our President-Elect, Dr Maryam Zeineddin, was honoured with a Doctors of BC 2023 Recognition award, presented at the Doctors of BC Awards Gala on January 26th, 2024.
Committee recognition awards are given to members for their long service to Doctors of BC. Recipients of these awards have served a minimum of 3 years on a single committee.
Dr Zeineddin was BC Family Doctor’s representative to the Statutory Negotiating Committee for three years during negotiations for the 2022 Physician Master Agreement. She helped negotiate one of the best PMA’s for physicians in decades. Dr. Zeineddin was also instrumental in negotiations to bring about the Longitudinal Family Practice Payment Model. Her ability to challenge status quo and ignite change are truly inspirational.
Dr Zeineddin has provided full-service family practice for the last 18 years. She is Medical Director and co-owner of a group family practice clinic caring for a cohort of 10,000 patients in a suburban community on the Northshore.
