Advancing Virtual Primary Care for People with Opioid Use Disorder

Are you a family physician providing care for individuals with opioid use disorder?

Advancing Virtual Primary Care for People with Opioid Use Disorder, an SFU, UBC, and UVIC study is recruiting family doctors in BC to participate in interviews.

The project, led by Dr Lindsay Hedden, intends to study how the rapid introduction of virtual care during the COVID-19 pandemic affected family doctors and patients.

Interested individuals would participate in interviews to explore accessibility, management of opioid use disorder and related co-morbidities using virtual approaches, and physicians perceptions of liability, risk mitigation, workflow, capacity and satisfaction. Participants may be compensated for their time.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Dr Lindsay Hedden directly at lindsay_hedden@sfu.ca or Sarah Spencer at sarah_spencer@sfu.ca.
