Tuesday's the RN is in clinic and can assist with procedures.

Great Clinic in the Boundary region between Osoyoos and Grand Forks BC. We are set up to provide service to around 1,000 patients in the region. The demographics tend to be over the age of 60, however there are many new families in the town. We are looking for stable physician coverage as currently just a single practitioner is part-time. The clinic has three examination rooms and one office room. The patients range from Rock Creek to Grand Forks. There is immense flexibility in scheduling as the expectation is only for part-time, however the workload can increased and be easily spread between multiple practitioners. We want to actively recruit a new practitioner to the region as well as having regular locums to fill out the service. Currently the practitioner sees about 25 patients a day in 15 minutes slots however that can be increased with telehealth as well as house calls. There is an assisted living facility in the community that would greatly appreciate visits. There is currently a community paramedic that works closely with the office as well as an RN through the BHCC who comes on Tuesdays. We have recently extended lab hour coverage to Tuesdays and Thursdays and they are able to fit in urgent labs. The pharmacist is open Wednesday to Friday and is readily available. The town of Midway has some amazing walking trails and biking trails as well as the Kettle Valley rail trail that runs towards Grand Forks as well as towards Kelowna. There is a hometown feel to this idyllic village. There are three lakes that are nearby including Jewel Lake and Christina Lake which are some of the Boundary's best kept secrets. There's also Phoenix ski hill and Baldy ski hill within an hour drive.
