Throughout the provincial election, your President brought your perspectives to the media, calling for long-term, systemic changes- including sustainable recruitment strategies and better integration of electronic medical records (EMRs).

“Compared to three years ago, there is definitely more life, viability, sustainability within community family practice models. I see new clinics being opened, I see new people coming in to communities, which is very exciting,” Dr. Narang said in a recent CBC News interview. He also called for improved EMR infrastructure to reduce repetitive paperwork, equitable access to rural healthcare and a place for physicians at key decision-making tables.

BC Family Doctors election toolkit was also highlighted in the Vancouver Sun.
