Permanent Family Physician – Shaughnessy Medical Clinic

Seeking permanent family physicians, either part-time or full-time (0.5-1.0 FTE). Flexible start date.

Attractive and competitive overhead of only 25% plus EMR fee. Physicians will keep all 3rd party billing and panel payments.

Shaughnessy Healthcare & Aesthetics, a clinic in the prestigious Oak/Shaughnessy neighbourhood, is looking to grow their team. They are a full-service family practice with 6 exam rooms and 1 shared physician’s office. Currently, 2 physicians work in the clinic, but up to 3 physicians can work in-person simultaneously. Currently, there are 2 full-time MOAs, and more can be hired if needed. The patient population is mostly working-class, ranging in age from young to elderly. Many are early Chinese immigrants and their families. Each physician will pay for their own EMR (Telus MedAccess).

Languages: Cantonese and Mandarin are considered assets

- 3 parking spots available (one for each physician). Lots of free parking in the vicinity.
- Bus stop located right outside of the clinic.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

On-call hours: None.

Other Relevant Information: The clinic is located a few blocks away from VGH, BC Women’s and BC Children’s hospital. Formerly Shaughnessy Family Medicine, the clinic is well-equipped, and the medical and office staff have a strong working relationship, contributing to a positive and collegial office environment where everyone supports each other.
