Nurse Practitioner – Doc-Side Medical

Doc-Side Medical, a clinic in the downtown eastside is looking to have a Nurse Practitioner join their clinical team. As part of a multi-disciplinary approach to full-service family medicine, an interested NP would work collaboratively in the team environment and start their own patient panel as per Ministry requirements.

This will be a full-time or part-time salaried position. This clinic is excited to add to their team a Nurse Practitioner interested in working together to provide primary care for the surrounding community of patients. This initiative is part of Primary Care Networks (PCNs) evolving in Vancouver. NPs interested in this opportunity should be willing to work collaboratively and participate in PCN development in the community.

Doc-Side Medical, a clinic in the Downtown Eastside, is looking to grow their team. They are a family practice and their 3,000 square foot clinic has 9 exam rooms and 4 physicians (2 Family Physicians and 2 Psychiatrists) working in the clinic. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person. The patient population serviced by this clinic is largely composed of mental illness and addiction cases, with many of the DTES patients being unhoused and/or on social assistance.

Hours: Monday/Wednesday 12pm-5pm, Tuesday/Thursday 9:30am-5pm, Friday 9:30am-3pm
