Locum Family Physician – Mint Medical Clinic

We are looking for flexible locum shifts for rostered overflow and vacation coverage. The aim is to find a permanent long-term locum for 1-2 shifts per week. This would be ideal for a physician with a small patient panel who would like to supplement with other rostered patients or a locum that would like a long term part-time position.

Locum would be using Oscar EMR (Juno) integrated with Cortico/e-fax.
Mint Medical Clinic is a modern, full-scope family practice built in 2023 that is looking to grow their team with full or part-time physicians. The clinic is efficiently run and well supported by a 1:1 medial office assistant to physician ratio and a LPN. The LPN can perform MOCA examinations, prepare injections/procedures, triage, and help with other administrative tasks. Each MOA is well trained in our system to provide routine vitals and other clinical tests when indicated.

We do not have a walk-in component to our clinic so all patients are rostered.

The clinic has 7 exam rooms, 2 physician offices, a lunchroom, and a private staff washroom, with 4 physicians working in the clinic.

The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person, using both Oscar Juno EMR integrated with Cortico/e-fax and Telus Med-access integrated with Ocean/E-fax. The patient population is a full-spectrum of young families, working professionals and the elderly.

Other relevant information: The clinic strives to provide a collegial environment, and the medical director is available in the clinic during regular hours to provide support as needed. The clinic is in a busy neighbourhood with many amenities and food options nearby, such as a T&T supermarket.
