Beaver Valley Medical Clinic is a busy, collegial rural family practice located in the beautiful community of Fruitvale, BC. We are seeking locum family physicians to join our collaborative team throughout the year, with flexible scheduling and a variety of dates available.
Our clinic is home to family physicians and nurse practitioners working alongside experienced MOAs and an RN in a supportive, team-based environment. We use the MedAccess EMR and offer a broad scope of family practice services, including office-based procedures in our fully equipped minor procedure room.
As part of the Kootenay Boundary Primary Care Network, our clinic has an on-site social worker. We also offer direct booking with an integrated physiotherapist through our EMR, while additional allied health services, including occupational therapy, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and a registered dietitian, are available through the regional PCN.
For physicians interested in expanding their scope of practice, there is the opportunity to apply for hospital privileges at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in nearby Trail, allowing participation in hospital-based care based on individual interests and available privileges.
Located just 15 minutes from Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital, Fruitvale offers the perfect balance of rewarding rural medicine and an exceptional lifestyle. KBRH is a 75-bed regional referral hospital serving a population of approximately 80,000 and provides access to a broad range of specialist services.
