Hello! I’m Nicole Minielly, your Year 2 Resident Board representative, and I encourage you to join me on the BC Family Doctors Board.

I joined the BC Family Doctors Board with the hopes of connecting with colleagues and like-minded individuals across the province who are passionate about primary care. It’s been incredibly rewarding to collaborate on meaningful ways to strengthen the system and improve outcomes for both patients and providers.

BC Family Doctors needs resident leaders who will speak up for the needs of family medicine and resident physicians as we continue to lead the evolution of family medicine. We’re just getting started.

We have two resident representatives on our Board of Directors (non-voting). We are looking for one first-year resident to join the Board for a two-year term. You will also be a voting delegate to the Doctors of BC Representative Assembly. Honoraria and reimbursement of travel expenses will be provided.

Download the Expression of Interest Form to learn more about BC Family Doctors Board. Submit your form by email to hello@bcfamilydocs.ca. Deadline for submission: July 15, 2025 at 11:59 pm.

Together, we can build a healthier BC – with family medicine at its heart.

We offer FREE membership to residents.

As you transition from medical school through residency and into practice, we’re here to help you. Our billing and practice tools are made for YOU.

Join via Doctors of BC here.

Log in to your Doctors of BC account, and add your BC Family Doctors membership in the Sections and Societies area.
