Permanent part-time Family Physician – Arbutus Care Centre

This job posting is for a permanent position (not locum).

Arbutus Care Centre is a 156-bed long term care home currently being supported by five Long Term Care Initiative (LTCI) practitioners. An additional practitioner is required to assist with the resident caseload. Arbutus Care Centre accommodates the language, cultural and spiritual needs of its diverse residents. Practitioners working in LTCI care homes will work with an interdisciplinary care team: physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, allied health, and the care home leadership team. If you are new to long term care, there is paid mentorship available as well as a strong community of practice to build your skill set and confidence. In addition to LFP or fee-for-service payments, practitioners who join the LTCI also qualify for incentive payments if they participate in the after-hours care program, attend events, or participate in quality improvement projects.
