As an LFP physician or LFP locum, what do I need to do for annual re-enrolment in the LFP Payment Model?

LFP Physicians: Annual re-enrolment

All physicians enrolled in the LFP Payment Model must submit the registration code (98000) to MSP/Teleplan between January 1 and March 31, 2024 to continue billing under the LFP Payment Model.

• If the registration code is not submitted by March 31, no subsequent payments will occur under the LFP Payment Model until it is submitted.
• Please review the eligibility criteria, required services, and enrolment information in the LFP Payment Schedule prior to submitting.

LFP Locums: Simplified locum enrolment 

All physicians providing locum services under the LFP Payment Model must do the following between January 1 and March 31, 2024 to continue billing under the LFP Payment Model:

1. Submit the 98005 Locum Registration Code to MSP/Teleplan. 
2. Submit an LFP Locum registration form. 

• Effective January 1, 2024, there is a simplified enrolment process for LFP Locums for both first time enrolment and re-enrolment. (Locums no longer need to submit 98000 in addition to 98005.)
