We Want Your Feedback: BCCA Proposals on Scope of Practice
February 11, 2026

The BC Chiropractic Association (BCCA) is advancing two scope of practice proposals to government. These proposed changes may impact patient care and the work of family physicians across BC. We are asking our members to share their perspectives with us.
The two proposals relate to:
- Publicly funded direct referral authority to radiologists by chiropractors for diagnostic imaging
- Needle stimulation and intra-muscular stimulation (IMS)
We want to ensure the voice of family medicine is reflected in the feedback Doctors of BC delivers on behalf of the profession. Your insights will help shape our collective response.
Please submit your feedback here by February 20, 2026.
