As a TELUS Health MyCare Nurse Practitioner you'll have the opportunity to help us shape the future of healthcare across Canada by improving access to healthcare for all by bringing it directly to the communities that need it most.

Status: Contractor

As a TELUS Health MyCare Nurse Practitioner, you will:
-Provide video-based primary care consultations for patients with both episodic and longer-term needs
-Thrive in a fast-paced, clinically diverse environment within a shared model of primary care
-Practice to full scope by assessing, diagnosing, and treating episodic and chronic conditions while supporting patients through their healthcare journey
-Reviewing laboratory and imaging results to ensure appropriate patient follow-up
-Work with our Medical Directors and physicians to support clinical quality and governance
-Support patients with complex needs
-Provide clinical support and direction as needed to the Clinical Operations Team.
-Optional: For those who wish to combine virtual and in-person care, we also have part-time hours available in clinics in Vancouver and Victoria for patients triaged to clinic from our episodic virtual service.

What do you need to apply?
-Registered with the BCCNP with a background in family/primary care
-Registrant Type and Class: Current - Practicing NP
-Knowledge and experience in primary care, 2+ years of experience preferred
-Exceptional organizational skills, with a positive and results-focused attitude
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and patients
-Comfortable with mobile technology (video calling), or the ability and desire to learn!
-Be able to commit minimum of 6 hours per week
