This Vancouver clinic is looking to have a Nurse Practitioner join their clinical team. As part of a multi-disciplinary approach to full-service family medicine, an interested NP would work collaboratively in the team environment and start their own patient panel as per Ministry requirements.
This will be a full-time or part-time salaried position. This clinic is excited to add to their team a Nurse Practitioner interested in working together to provide primary care for the surrounding community of patients. This initiative is part of Primary Care Networks (PCNs) evolving in Vancouver. NPs interested in this opportunity should be willing to work collaboratively and participate in PCN development in the community.

In addition to this, they currently have 6 full-time family physicians, 1 full-time nurse practitioner, 2 regular locum physicians and a registered nurse who is heavily involved in optimizing our primary care practice. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person. Providers manage their own customizable schedules for both virtual and in-office care. The team-centered approach allows for flexible and reliable vacation coverage. Billing is done directly through the EMR.
The clinic’s experienced support team of MOAs are trained to take patient vitals, ensure room preparation and procedure set-up, and assist with referral tracking and billing support.
With the support of their EMR and built-in virtual technology, daily processes are streamlined. This includes online appointment booking, encounter templates for faster charting, pre-visit questionnaires, and automatic patient notifications to reduce no-shows. The secure patient portal makes sending lab requisitions, prescriptions, and patient communication much easier.
