An opportunity for an Addiction Medicine Physician at Ravensview, part of Homewood Health, the national leader in mental health and addictions treatment in Canada. We’re seeking a full-time position, however open to part-time as well as short-term locums. This position is within our specialized treatment program delivering evidence-based treatments and superior outcomes. The program is delivered on-site at Ravensview, in a collaborative manner, with a supportive interdisciplinary team, which includes nurses, dieticians, social workers, occupational therapists, recreational therapists, and horticulture therapists. In this role, you will be responsible for the clinical care of patients as they engage in their recovery journey.

Key Details:
• Clinically responsible for assigned patients including admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, monitoring, referral, daily care, and discharge.
• Clinical care includes diagnosis and management of substance use disorders, medication management, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team for return to work planning and psychotherapeutic interventions
• Provide ongoing supervision and management of clinical/patient care including individual assessments with the patient to ensure ongoing standards of patient care are met
• Collaborate with other physicians, nurses and allied health professionals in providing optimal patient care within an interdisciplinary team
