LFP Physicians & Locums: Reminder for Annual Re-enrolment in the LFP Payment Model!

Mark your calendar for Jan 1, 2026!
All LFP physicians & locums must re-enrol annually Jan 1–Mar 31 to continue billing and receiving payments under the LFP Payment Model.
By re-enrolling you confirm that you:
- Meet ongoing LFP Eligibility Criteria.
- Bill in accordance with the LFP Payment Schedule .
If you miss the March 31 deadline:
- Your LFP payments stop until you re-enrol.
- You are NOT automatically withdrawn from the model!
Re-enrolment from January 1
Physicians will submit 3 codes via Teleplan:
- LFP Enrolment Code 98000 with MSP Practitioner # and specific LFP “patient” info (PHN, name, DoB, ICD-9).
- LFP Setting Registration Codes with MSP Facility # for all locations using the LFP model (98002 Clinic, 98003 LTC and Palliative Facility, 98004 Inpatient Facility, 98006 Pregnancy & Newborn Facility).
- Recommended: CLFP Portal Code 14070 to bill Fee-for-Service for LFP-Excluded Services and services in locations not using the LFP model. 14070 provides access to FPSC-created fees.
Locums will submit 3 codes via Teleplan & 1 form to Doctors of BC:
- LFP Locum Enrolment Code 98005 with MSP Practitioner # and specific LFP “patient” info (PHN, name, DoB, ICD-9).
- LFP Setting Registration Codes with MSP Facility # for all locations using the LFP model (98002 Clinic, 98003 LTC and Palliative Facility, 98004 Inpatient Facility, 98006 Pregnancy & Newborn Facility).
