SWITCH BC’s Community Physician Health and Safety (CPHS) Program, funded by Doctors of BC and funded through the Physician Master Agreement, has launched new de-escalation tools to support medical office staff in community clinics. Developed with input from family doctors and staff in primary care clinics across BC, these resources aim to foster safer, more confident staff-patient interactions.

The tools can help lower workplace stress, reduce complaints, strengthen patient relationships, boost staff retention, improve safety and enhance overall clinic efficiency.
