Locum Family Physician – Cambie Village Medical Practice

Long-term Locum Needed: Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Physicians are needed for Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8am to 4pm, with the possibility of virtual consults on Wednesdays.

Physicians are welcome to bring their own panel of patients or start a new panel, as the clinic has a large waitlist.

Appointments are booked as follows:
- Regular consults: 10 minutes
-Pap smears: 20 minutes
- IUD insertions or other procedures: 30 minutes

The clinic is closed for lunch from 12-1pm.

Remuneration: FFS or LFP, billing split 70/30 for MSP billings and private pay skin procedures; 80-20 for private pay forms, notes and medical legal reports.

They are a full-scope family practice that is supported by 2 MOA’s and a clinic manager. The clinic has 5 exam rooms and 1 shared office with 3 work stations with 3 physicians working in the clinic. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person. The patient population is full-spectrum from babies to geriatric and everything in between, and is set up for all things family practice (pap smears, CPX, IUD Insertions/removals, ear syringing etc.) and for in office dermatology treatments (cryotherapy, electrocautery, mole shaves and biopsies).
