Nurse Practitioner – WELL Health – City View Medical Clinic

Seeking coverage for a maternity leave position beginning around April 1, 2025. The ideal candidate would commit to a one-year term; however, shorter-term options can be considered. The current schedule includes in-office work on Mondays and Wednesdays and virtual appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with an optional flex day on Fridays as needed. Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with additional time for charting, lab and results follow-ups, and patient preparation.

The patient panel consists of approximately 500 individuals, ranging from infants to older adults, established December 2024. Beneficial skills include mental health and pediatric assessments, as well as basic procedural skills (e.g., ear flushing and liquid nitrogen application).

As part of a team-based approach to full-service family medicine, an interested Nurse Practitioner (NP) would work collaboratively within the team and establish their own patient panel as required by the Ministry. This position can be full-time or part-time and is salaried.

This clinic is excited to add an NP to their team who is committed to working together to deliver primary care to the local community. The role is part of the Primary Care Networks
(PCNs) initiative in Vancouver. NPs interested in this opportunity should be willing to work as part of a team and support the development of PCNs in the community.

WELL Health – City View Medical Clinic, a beautiful clinic in the heart of Vancouver, is looking to grow their team. They are a family practice with 8 family physicians supported by 2 office managers, 5 MOAs, a full-time registered nurse, and a nurse practitioner. Providers also have access to PCN Interprofessional Teams. The clinic has 10 exam rooms. Each family physician is able to work out of 2 exam rooms during their shift. All the FPs/NPs complete charting and conduct phone calls out of one large private office, which has a lovely view of False Creek. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person, and the patient population is full-spectrum. The clinic has some physicians who specialize in obstetrical care and sports medicine.

Parking/Bike/Transit information: Easily accessible by Canada Line Sky Train, 9 & 99-B-Line bus routes. Free physician parking available in underground garage.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
