Doctors of BC is seeking physician feedback on three key topics that impact family doctors. Your perspectives on these topics are critical to informing policy and advocacy work for physicians.
- The Illicit Drug Overdose Crisis — Illicit drug overdose deaths in BC have increased since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Share your perspective on policy approaches that include decriminalization and access to safer alternatives to street drugs.
- Diversity and Inclusion — Doctors of BC is working on advancing the diversity and inclusion recommendations from the 2019 Barrier Assessment report. Share your input into a high-level Vision Statement.
- Working in non-physician owned clinics — BC doctors are now becoming “employees” by entering into a contract with corporate and privately owned clinics. Share your thoughts on the factors doctors should consider before taking this step.
Your feedback matters. Members can access the online member engagement platform until April 4th.
For more details on these topics, see the Doctors of BC website or email your questions to [email protected].
